Returns Policy
  • Returns & Exchanges Policy 

  • Jean City offers a hassle free returns policy. If you are not satisfied with the item(s) that you have purchased you may return them to Jean City within 14 days of receipt and we will issue a full refund Alternatively, you can exchange the item(s) within 21 days from the original date of purchase, provided that the item(s) are returned in their original condition*. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless you have received a faulty or wrong item from us.

    We are only able to exchange to items as shown online, should your required size or colour option not be shown online then that item would not be available to exchange to.

    Please note that if you originally qualified for free shipping you will incur a charge of �3.95 (UK only*) for reshipping your exchanged item.

    A credit note (valid for 6 months) will allow you to shop at Jean City in the future at your own pleasure, thus allowing you to take advantage of new offers and products. Please note that credit note values do not cover postage costs should you spend less than the free shipping amount.

    Please make sure you include your receipt with the item(s) you are sending back. To obtain a receipt you can simply log in to your account, click on view order history and print one out there. Please note that there will be delays on refunds where no information is included in the parcel. You will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the item(s) to www.jeancity.co.uk. This includes any customs or import duties levied on the returned item(s) (only applies to non European Union countries).

    The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a signed for delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. Popular services are Royal Mails Recorded Delivery and Special Delivery Services (ask your post office about these).

    Please note that the cost of returning the item(s) to us is your responsibility.

    Exchange Information

    The quickest way to make an exchange is to re-order the size required and send the item(s) you don't want back to us for a refund.

    If you wish to change the item(s) for a completely different item or colour then you will have to place a new order for this and return the other item(s) back for a refund.

    Please allow 3 working days from receipt of a return for us to process your exchange. If for any reason we are out of stock of the item we will e-mail you about this.

    Alternatively, you can bring the garments back to the store and we will assist with your exchange in store, provided that the clothes are in their original condition.

    * When trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing aftershave/perfume or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item(s). We will be unable to accept the return of any item(s) where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed, or where the item(s) have been soiled in any way. The item(s) must be returned in its original condition and packaging. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

    We reserve the right to withhold exchange, credit or refund if the item is visibly worn, damaged, marked in any way with pen or grease, washed, smells of smoke, aftershave, perfume, deodorant or washing powder, or is any condition that we deem renders the item unsalable.

Please check your order as soon as it arrives for any defects that you might want to question at a later date, do not wear or wash the item before sending it back.

Distance Selling Regulations

You have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased through our website with or without reason, under the distance selling regulations for refund. This does not apply to any perishable goods, software or item personalised or made to your specification.
To cancel any item, you can e-mail or write to us within seven working days of the day following delivery of your order being made, quoting your order number. Please Note however, we may have already sent your item if you decide to cancel after 24 hours as of course we always try to ship as quickly as possible. If this is the case our standard Returns policy comes into force.

You must take reasonable care of the item, retain all original packaging and must not use them.

Any costs incurred in returning the item are the responsibility of the customer.
